GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay police released the names of the three people who died in Sunday’s crash.
The three victims are: Jessie L. Saldana, 28, Sonia D. Gonzalez-Guillen, 27, and Sonia V. Gonzalez, 57.
The three were inside a vehicle, pulling out of Bart Starr Rd. onto Lombardi Ave. when they were hit by a vehicle traveling 60-90 mph.
Police say the driver of the speeding vehicle, 22-year-old, Abdi Ahmed, is facing second-degree reckless homicide charges.
Ahmed made his first appearance in Brown County Court Monday, where a cash bail of $100 thousand was set.
He returns to court July 9.
Formal charges have not been filed against Ahmed.
