HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Groundbreaking was held Tuesday for a food manufacturing plant that is expected to add 85 jobs in Howard.
The 180,000 square foot facility is expected to cost Winona Foods $1,400,000.

It was founded in 1995 as a trader of surplus cheese, relocated to Suamico in 2003, and built a facility in Kaukauna three years ago.
Governor Scott Walker was on hand for the groundbreaking saying “it fits in well here. We see the economy booming here; unemployment is at a 17-year low, overall employment is at at an all-time high, and the percentage of people working is one of the highest in the nation.”
