(WNFL) – Marquette women’s basketball freshman Allazia Blockton has been named to the Big East Honor Roll. It’s the ninth week in a row that Blockton has either made the Honor Roll, or won the award as the league’s top freshman. She led Marquette to a two-and-oh mark this past week by averaging 19 points, six rebounds, four-and-a-half assists, and two-and-a-half steals in those games. Also, U-W Milwaukee sophomore Steph Kostowicz is the Horizon League women’s basketball player-of-the-week. She had back-to-back career-highs in scoring with 20 points against Wright State and 23 against Northern Kentucky — and she had 17 total rebounds in those two outings.
