The Green Bay Bullfrogs got strong pitching to sweep a doubleheader from the Battle Creek Bombers Thursday night at Joannes Stadium. Alex Martinez allowed three hits over six innings in the opner as the Frogs won 4-0. Three pitchers combined on a three hitter in the nightcap, a 3-1 victory for Green Bay. The Bullfrogs have improved to 17-12 on the season and they now stand tied for second in the Northwoods League South Division, just two games back of front running Kenosha. The Bullfrogs host the Bombers again on Friday night at Joannes at 7:05 PM.
