MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The body of an Appleton man was pulled from Lake Michigan.
According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office, the body was found at approximately 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of N. Harbor Drive by the Milwaukee Police Department’s Harbor Patrol unit.
Officials identified the person as Juan Carlos Sierra Campos, 48, of Appleton. The medical examiner’s office ruled his manner of death accidental. Authorities do not believe it was connected to the historic flash flooding that hit the Milwaukee area over the weekend.
Police continue to investigate the death, but said at this time, it doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
