GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A body was pulled from the Fox River in Green Bay Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:20 p.m., the Green Bay Police Department was dispatched for a report of a passerby who found a body in the water.
The body was recovered from the Fox River, near Leicht Memorial Park, at approximately 4:38 p.m., with assistance from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
Police say the body belongs to a 70-year-old Green Bay man and they are investigating his death. His name is not being released at this time.
While the circumstances of the man’s death have not yet been determined, authorities do not believe the community is in any danger.
