Dylan Mayne (Fond du Lac Co. Jail)
FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man convicted of supplying the fentanyl that led to a close friend’s death has been sentenced to prison.
Dylan Mayne, 27, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 10 years on extended supervision.
Prosecutors say Mayne provided heroin mixed with fentanyl to the victim on May 16, 2023. The next day, emergency responders were called to a home on Franklin Street in Waupun for a potential death.
The victim died at the scene and a second person who had overdosed was flown to a hospital and survived.
