(LEARFIELD) GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst met with the media on Monday to talk about the NFL Draft that occurs this Thursday through Saturday at Lambeau Field.
Gutekunst was asked about without having extra picks this year, does that change anything compared to the past few years:?
After seeing the setup, has Mark Murphy changed his mind and told Gutekunst to make sure he makes a first round pick?
Gutekunst said that he’s always had 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks – to trade up, it has to be for a real special player.
Gutekunst said that when it comes to weighing college production vs. NFL potential, it’s all about trying to predict what a player will do in the NFL.
