GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man accused of causing a multi-vehicle hit and run crash with injuries on Main Street last month has been arrested.
A 41-year-old Green Bay man was taken into custody in the 500 block of Monroe Avenue Friday evening, nearly a week after the Dec. 28 crash.
Witnesses told police that a SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street before injuring five people and damaging five vehicles.
The driver was later seen running away from the scene. Authorities searched the area after the crash but were unable to locate the driver.
Green Bay police will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
