(WNFL) – Damian Lillard scored 37 points as the Milwaukee Bucks played without Giannis Antetokounmpo in a 106-103 win over the Miami Heat in Miami on Tuesday.
Antetokounmpo missed the game due to swelling in his left knee.
The Bucks made 30-of-42 3-point attempts in the win, won their fifth straight and evened their record at 9-9.
Brook Lopez talked about how the team reacted when learning they wouldn’t have Giannis.
Lopez said that Lillard sparked them.
Lillard said that it was big to get out early on Miami.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers talked about how not having Giannis available affected their game plan
Lopez finished with 13 points while Bobby Portis had 11 points. Taurean Prince and Pat Connaughton both had 10 points.
Jimmy Butler led Miami with 23 points. Tyler Herro had 18 points.
The Bucks are now idle until Saturday when they host the Washington Wizards.
The game begins at 7 p.m. with a 6:30 pregame and can be heard on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
