(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers are dinged up to say the least.
Among those not practicing on Wednesday were Jaire Alexander, Josh Jacobs, Elgton Jenkins, Jordan Love, Josh Myers, Rasheed Walker and Evan Williams.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about the challenge of not knowing if he’ll have some of his key players on game day.
What about quarterback Jordan Love?
LaFleur also addressed the state of the secondary without Alexander and Williams.
Love hurts: Packers quarterback Jordan Love hopes to be healed up enough from his groin injury to be able to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Love said that he is working to get back now is just like with his knee injury earlier.
He said that despite his injuries this season, he doesn’t feel unlucky.
As for the groin injury, is it feeling any better?
Love was asked about his chances to play Sunday.
Packers’ Cooper honored: Rookie linebacker Edgerin Cooper was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for the work he put in for the Packers against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Cooper said he learned about the award Wednesday morning.
LaFleur talked about Cooper getting the NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Cooper was All-American in College. Does this award mean anything to him?
Cooper said that he never came off the field in college, but so far he’s getting limited opportunities with the Packers.
Cooper will play a key role in slowing down a very potent Detroit Lions offense on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
