APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Houses in Northeast Wisconsin are getting in the spooky spirit as Halloween is under two weeks away.
One house that went above and beyond is Disturbia of Appleton.
While providing joy, and something to admire, people walking by are encouraged to help raise money for Skeletons for St. Jude.
“This is a nationwide campaign and there are houses all over the place,” said Kim Jones, decorator of Disturbia. “You scan a QR code and you can donate any amount that will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”
Jones’ goal is for her house to raise $3,000 this year; she says they’re about 41% of the way there.
You can visit Disturbia of Appleton at 1007 E. Marquette St. The display will be up until November 1.
