(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – While the Green Bay Packers will have play at least this week without wide receiver Christian Watson (see below), it’s been more of a challenge for this week’s opponent of the Green Bay Packers – the Los Angeles Rams.
Matt LaFleur talked about the Rams having had to move on without injured receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
One issue of concern brought up by the media yesteday with LaFleur is Dontayvian Wicks and his drop issues this season.
LaFleur said that they need more consistency all around.
LaFleur talked about whether the drops are a physical or mental thing.
Meanwhile, Jordan Love was asked does he try to go right back to a receiver (Wicks) after a dropped pass, like Aaron Rodgers used to do?
Watson avoids IR: Packers coach Matt Lafleur confirmed Wednesday that wide receiver Christian Watson will avoid landing on injured reserve after suffering an ankle injury Sunday. On Monday, LaFleur said Watson will miss “a week or so,” and avoiding injured reserve suggests the team thinks he’ll be back within the four-week window. Watson didn’t practice Wednesday.
