Packers’ LaFleur talks tight ends, picks and Willis’ wonderful start

(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers are fortunate to have 2 quality tight ends in Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave.

In Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, Kraft played a big part in the Packers’ run game by setting edge.

At his Monday-meeting-with-the-media news conference, Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about Kraft’s performance.

He also spoke on Kraft getting 25 more snaps than Musgrave.

Take your picks: One noticeable thing about the Packers defense is that through 2 games, they have 5 interceptions.

LaFleur spoke about the pick uptick.

He said they could have had 4 picks just on Sunday if not for one that Quay Walker dropped.

No Love, no problem: LaFleur was asked if he knew Malik Willis had what it would take to go win an NFL game.

LaFleur said that they became more confident in Malik as the game went along.

So what’s the challenge now, if you go with Malik Willis this week, after coming up with such an effective game plan last week?

How close to healthy is Jordan Love: Jordan Love could reclaim his starting position sooner than expected.

While appearing on ESPN Milwaukee Monday, NFL Insider Rob Demovsky reported that he’s not convinced Malik Willis will start for the Packers in Week 3.

Demovsky says he was told Love was very close to playing against the Colts and head coach Matt LaFleur’s injury update wasn’t a charade.

The Packers play at Tennessee against the Titans. Kickoff is slated for just after high noon.
