APPLETON (WLUK) — Appleton police are investigating after shots were fired on the city’s north side Saturday night.
According to a press release, officers in Appleton were called to the 2500 block of North Richmond Street after receiving a call that gunshots were heard.
When they arrived, police say they located a vehicle and building that appeared to have been struck by gunfire.
The release continues: “The Appleton police asked around for any additional information from individuals near the scene, however, no further information was able to be provided. Upon conducting interviews, no injuries were reported following the incident.”
Upon initial response by Appleton PD, investigators were dispatched to take over the investigation.
