GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Packers have released kicker Anders Carlson, according to multiple sources.
The Packers drafted Carlson in the 6th round last year.
He finished his rookie season 27-of-33 on field goal attempts along with 34-of-39 on extra points.
Carlson was just 7-12 on kicks of 40 yards or longer and missed an NFL high 5 extra points.
He had the best training camp percentage of any kicker on the roster, but did miss a 32-yard field goal in the final preseason game.
