(247NEWSSOURCE) -The Milwaukee Brewers completed a two-game sweep of the Minnesota Twins with an 8-7 win at Target Field in Minneapolis on Sunday.
The game was tied at five in the top of the eighth before Rhys Hoskins smoked a two-run home run to put the Brewers up for good.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Hoskins is heating up.
Eric Haase homered twice in the victory, while Jackson Chourio also went deep.
Jared Koenig picked up his eighth win in relief, while Trevor Megill earned his 19th save.
Murphy said the team won despite making a lot of mistakes.
Milwaukee is on a three-game winning streak.
Byron Buxton hit two home runs in the losing effort, while Griffin Jax was charged with his fourth loss out of the bullpen.
The Twins have dropped four of five.
