TOWN OF GLENMORE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A woman and a child were injured in an ATV crash Wednesday in Brown County.
Around 1 p.m., multiple agencies responded to a report of a single-vehicle ATV crash with injuries on Cooperstown Road, just east of the intersection with Parkview Road, in the town of Glenmore.
Initial investigation reveals a 20-year-old female from Maribel was driving the ATV, with a 3-year-old Denmark boy as a passenger. While traveling westbound on Cooperstown Road, the woman “lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.”
The child sustained non-life-threatening injuries; however, the woman suffered “critical injuries” and was airlifted by a rescue helicopter to an area hospital. Their names have not yet been released.
An investigation is ongoing. Officials say neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
