GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Titletown could have an international flair a couple years from now.
The world governing organization of soccer, FIFA, announces Green Bay could be one of the cities teams could train and stay in during the 2026 World Cup.
The tournament will be held from mid-June through mid-July in host cities across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
If Green Bay is selected, teams would train at Lambeau Field and stay at a local hotel.
Sites will be selected in late 2025.
