OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin Herd has announced the dates of six games in the 2024-25 season as the future of its home arena remains in question.
The Herd is scheduled to play at Oshkosh Arena on Nov. 16, Jan. 23, Jan. 25, Feb. 1, Feb. 22 and March 1. Tipoff times and opponents have yet to be announced.
The Wisconsin Herd is an NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks. Each G League team plays a 50-game schedule.
Last month, amid questions about the Oshkosh Arena’s financial situation, the Herd released this statement:
The Wisconsin Herd is actively preparing for the 2024-25 season in Oshkosh.
The Oshkosh Arena was put up for sale in March. City of Oshkosh records show the arena has missed multiple property tax payments in 2024. Also, Bayland Buildings filed a foreclosure suit earlier this month against Fox Valley Pro Basketball, which operates the arena.
The season for the Wisconsin GLO, a women’s basketball team that played at the arena, was canceled this month, just days after it was announced.
