GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Police are searching for information after a Green Bay skate park was vandalized twice in a three-day span.
According to the Green Bay Police Department (GBPD), it is believed the first incident at Joannes Skate Park took place on or around Monday.
Parks staff cleaned the graffiti, but then another incident happened on or around Wednesday.
In a Facebook post, GBPD wrote:
It is UNACCEPTABLE to damage or deface public property or the property of others. We are fortunate in the City of Green Bay to have many parks with different attractions from large playgrounds to trails to aquatic centers.
However, in order for all to continue to enjoy our parks, please be respectful of the property.
Park users and residents in the area are asked to keep an eye out for suspicious activity or damage and report it to police.
“If you have any information regarding these incidents, we encourage you to speak up and hold those accountable that choose to damage property that does not belong to them,” GBPD said.
