GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation hit a milestone of giving.
The organization says it surpassed $200 million granted to nonprofit programs and initiatives throughout its 33-year history.
More than $100 million of that was given in the past seven years.
“We celebrate the investments that have strengthened our community while also recognizing the challenges and needs of our community continue to evolve,” said Amber Paluch, Senior Vice President of Community Impact.” By supporting the work of our nonprofit organizations and bringing the community together around solutions, we are collectively building a community in which everyone can thrive.”
Newly established programs like Give BIG Green Bay and the Nonprofit Impact Initiative have helped the foundation give back even more these past few years.
