GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oudy Weber was convicted Thursday of trying to hire another jail inmate to kill his girlfriend.
Weber, 29, pleaded no contest to solicitation of first-degree intentional homicide, stalking and violating a restraining order. Sentencing is scheduled for May 31.
Prosecutors say Weber offered $25,000 to the inmate, and supplied specific information about the woman, her residence, vehicle and habits. The inmate Weber approached recorded some of their conversations discussing the deal, according to the criminal complaint.
