MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – Wisconsin officials have wrapped up their contract with a software licensing, web hosting and technical network company for the state’s new labor market info system.
The state Department of Workforce Development says they paid $1.4 million to Burning Glass Technologies.
According to officials, Wisconsin will benefit from a much-advanced user experience and system capabilities that the agency is finalizing through knowledge gained through their relationship with the Boston, Massachusettes-based firm.
The plan was to make it possible to provide rapid-fire labor market information to the public.
The data system is expected to go online sometime this fall, with updates coming next year.
