(WTAQ-WLUK) — A trial date has been set for an Oconto woman accused of providing the fentanyl which killed her boyfriend on Christmas Day in 2022.
Sarah Dahl, 30, made an appearance in Brown County court Friday for a bail/bond hearing, in which her $50,000 cash bond was reduced to $25,000. GPS monitoring and further conditions were ordered.
Court records show that a jury trial was scheduled for April 30 with a final pre-trial on April 12.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to a residence in the town of Morrison on Dec. 26, 2022. They discovered a 37-year-old man who wasn’t breathing and was subsequently declared dead. The victim has only been identified by his initials, “DJT.”
Police found a variety of drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home and cell phone records outlined drug deals. A witness told police Dahl said she had given DJT two “oxy” pills as a gift and that the death was an overdose, the complaint states.
