GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Packers’ regular season finale gave fans plenty to cheer about.
It’s a party in Titletown following their big win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
The fans brought the energy all game long. More than 78,000 people packed inside Lambeau Field.
Fans were ecstatic after the clock hit zero at 1265 Lombardi Avenue.
“They kinda made me nervous throughout the season,” said Garrett Blohm. “But this was just a great win for them to beat the bears, there’s nothing better.”
It was a close game down the stretch, but fans stayed confident in the team.
With the Packers headed to the playoffs for the first time since the 2021-22 season, fans are optimistic and excited to see what this young team is capable of.
“We’re ready for Dallas. Hopefully that’s who we play. I feel like we can compete with anybody,” said Jace Devault. “Jordan Love’s playing great football. Defense is playing great. Let’s do it.”
“Yeah, Why not,” said Jaron Urvan. “Yeah, Let’s go, we’re gonna ride the wave just like we’ve been all season.”
“When you have a new quarterback, and it’s a new year, and mid-season it kind of looked down, and you come up and win and the win to get in is against the Bears, there is absolutely nothing better,” said Nick Bailey.
In a do-or-die game, Sunday’s victory was a storybook ending to the regular season for both the young Packers team and Green and Gold faithful.
