GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced a long list of state highway maintenance projects on Friday that will be occurring across Northeast Wisconsin in the coming weeks.
Maintenance is scheduled in Brown, Door, Oconto, Sheboygan and Winnebago counties.
Details of the projects are listed below, by county, from WisDOT:
Brown County:
- Repairing pavement on northbound and southbound I-43 between County JJ and Humboldt Road, nightly; Sept. 19 through Sept. 21 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. A lane will be closed during repairs.
- Repairing pavement on the northbound I-41 off-ramp to WIS 32, nightly; Sept. 19 through Sept. 21 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp will be closed during repairs. Traffic to use Shawano Avenue exit, head west back to WIS 29/32.
- Repairing pavement on the northbound I-43 off-ramp from Mason Street, nightly; Sept. 19 through Sept. 21 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp will be closed during repairs.
- Repairing pavement on the southbound I-41 on-ramp from County AAA/Oneida Street, nightly; Sept. 18 through Sept. 20 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp will be closed during repairs.
- Repairing pavement on the southbound I-41 on-ramp from WIS 32, nightly; Sept.18 through Sept. 20 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The ramp will be closed during repairs.
- Repairing pavement on southbound I-41 at WIS 32, nightly; Sept. 17 through Sept. 20 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Door County:
- Painting WIS 32 over I-43 on Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. Northbound I-43 on and off-ramp at WIS 32 will be closed during repairs.
Oconto County:
- Repairing pavement on southbound US 41 over the Oconto River on Sept. 18 and Sept. 19 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A lane will be closed during repairs.
- Repairing pavement on southbound US 41 off-ramp to Brazaeu Avenue on Sept.18 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ramp will be closed during repairs.
- Repairing pavement on southbound US 141 over the Little River on Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A lane will be closed during repairs.
Sheboygan County:
- Replacing a culvert pipe and concrete pavement. Eastbound WIS 23 to WIS 32 ramp will be CLOSED beginning at 6 a.m. on September 11 through 4 p.m. on Sept. 21. WIS 32 traffic should follow WIS 23 eastbound to County Y northbound to westbound WIS 32.
Winnebago County:
- Repairing pavement on northbound and southbound I-41 between Main Street and County BB, nightly; Sept.17 through Sept. 20 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Various lanes will be closed during repairs.
WisDOT says all maintenance operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
