DENMARK, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three people were arrested after fleeing from law enforcement in southern Brown County.
Around 3:45 a.m. Thursday, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Green Bay Police Department tried to make a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected of criminal activity on I-43 by State Hwy 96 in Denmark.
The vehicle did not stop for officers, even after tire deflation devices were used.
The vehicle ended up leaving I-43 near Langes Corners Road in the town of New Denmark and then went into a cornfield. The suspects got out and ran.
The first two suspects were arrested shortly after. Around 6:30 a.m., the third suspect was located with the help of a K9 officer.
Officials say there is no known threat to the community at this time.
