MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Police were called to the Southfield Townhouses for a complaint of a family trouble complaint and a person armed with a firearm.
The incident happened at 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
Officers went to the residence and were able to get the victim and the victim’s children out of the area.
No one was injured.
Officers tried finding the suspect but couldn’t find him initially.
A short while later, a person provided a tip to dispatch that they saw the suspect return to the scene. The suspect was taken into custody.
A firearm was also recovered at the scene. The suspect was taken to jail on several charges related to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
