PESHTIGO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Collins Aerospace will permanently close its Peshtigo facility, putting about 100 people out of work.
The company expects to start the layoffs about July 28, and cease all operations by Dec. 15, according to a notice filed with the state this week.
In a statement, the company wrote, “Through regular evaluation of our business operations, Collins Aerospace has made the difficult decision to close its Peshtigo, Wisconsin, facility. Peshtigo’s operations will be primarily consolidated into our existing Medley, Florida, and Colorado Springs, Colorado, locations.”
In addition, 13 positions will convert to remote work or be relocated.
