Tanisha Washington
Green Bay, WI (WTAQ) — The Green Bay Police Department has arrested 29 year old Tanisha Washington of Ashwaubenon, who was suspected of a reported disturbance involving a handgun on April 17, 2023.
Officers were dispatched on April 17, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m. to a residence in the 2200 block of Newberry Avenue following reports that Washington was inside the home on the City’s east side.
Washington was taken into custody around 2:30 a.m. by SWAT without further incident with assistance from the Crisis Negotiation Team.
Washington was wanted for allegedly pointing a handgun at another woman and firing a round into the air prior to fleeing in a pick-up truck in the 2500 block of West Mason Street on the City’s west side.
This investigation is ongoing.
