GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Spring cleaning often means sorting through your closet, but for the Green Bay Public Works Department, it means taking care of the city’s bridges.
Beginning next week, two downtown bridges crossing the Fox River will be closed for annual spring-cleaning activities.
The Donald A. Tilleman Memorial Bridge (Mason Street over the Fox River) will close at 6 a.m. on April 12 and open at 2:30 p.m.
The Bart Starr Memorial Bridge (Walnut Street over the Fox River) will close at 6 a.m. on April 13 and open at 4 p.m.

The city says access to homes and businesses will remain open.
