GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – An aide to Governor Scott Walker’s former presidential bid has become the third Republican to run for an open U.S. House seat in northeast Wisconsin.
Michael Gallagher made his candidacy official Sunday at one of his father’s pizza restaurants in Green Bay.
Gallagher, a Marine veteran, turns 32 this week.
He joins Republicans Frank Lasee and Terry McNulty, and independent Wendy Gribben in running for the 8th District House seat in which Sherwood Republican Reid Ribble is stepping down after six years in office.
