GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Two people were displaced by an apartment fire on the Green Bay’s east side.
Crews were called to an apartment building at 1100 N. Van Buren Street at 9:45 p.m. Thursday for a report of smoke.
All residents were able to make it out safely.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke in both upper and lower units.
Additional crews were called to help find and extinguish the fire within the walls and void spaces.
The Fire Marshals Office has been called in to investigate the origin.
