GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Brown County man has been convicted of animal abuse charges after attempting to castrate a cat.
24-year-old Richard Krystof was sentenced to 50 hours of community service.
No jail time was ordered.
He pleaded no contest to charges of animal mistreatment and practicing veterinary medicine without a license.
Police say Krystof used a rubber band to castrate the cat in an attempt of neutering him.
