GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – “Project Play 60′” is the name and play is the game.
The Green Bay Packers promoted physical activity Saturday.
The free six hour-long event offered rock climbing, inflatable obstacle courses, and bungee trampolines.
It’s designed as a fun, free way for kids and families to stay active during the winter.
“It’s about getting out, playing 60 minutes a day, and really finding some of those new ways that they can be active, they can try something new that might be with them for years to come,” said Amanda Wery, Packers community outreach senior coordinator.
This is the 16th year that the Packers have put on “Project Play 60.”
Organizers say lines of kids ran in to experience the activities when the doors opened.
