FOX CROSSING, WI (WTAQ) – Leaking water has damaged multiple units in a Fox Crossing apartment building and displaced twelve residents.
Fire crews were dispatched Tuesday night around 11 p.m. to the 2400 block of Wilson Ct. for a water problem.
Crews found water actively leaking from the roof of the two-story building and more than $30,000 worth of damage and drywall collapse was found in seven apartment units and throughout the hallways.
No injuries were reported and the building was safely evacuated.
Officials do not believe there is structural damage to the building and the relocation of the displaced residents is being assisted by the Red Cross.
Around half of the affected units had renters insurance.
