BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ) – Law enforcement agencies responded to Midwest Communications in Bellevue for a vehicle that crashed into a tree on the company’s property.
On scene, law enforcement said the initial calls came while the vehicle was driving erratically in the city.
Later on, Brown County Sheriff deputies responded.
“The vehicle attempted to elude him [a Green Bay Police Officer,]” explains Lieutenant John Bain with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. “The vehicle then proceeded up the road where it then crashed.”
It is not known what circumstances led to the accident.
“Officers from Brown County are working the crash and the driver is facing criminal charges,” explains Lieutenant Bain.
He says there are no additional details, at this time, on what the specific charges are.
Additionally, officers are still unsure whether the male driver was under any influences at the time of the accident.
