TOWN OF STEPHENSON, WI (WTAQ) – A Marinette County crash has turned fatal after a woman died more than 10 days after the crash.
On Sunday, 45-year-old Jennifer Vania of Athelstane died at a Green Bay hospital from complications of her injuries sustained in the May 29th crash.
The crash happened before 6 p.m. on County Highway A near Jazwinski Rd. in the town of Stephenson.
Deputies say a vehicle traveling northbound on County Highway A entered the shoulder, lost control and crossed the center line, striking a southbound vehicle.
Vania, a passenger in the northbound vehicle, was taken to the hospital. Two occupants in the southbound vehicle were also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation into the crash continues.
