CHILTON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A volunteer foster home-based dog rescue organization raised money for its dogs Saturday.
Sandi Paws Rescue asked for donations in Chilton.
Some of the donations included dog food, wipes, and a fan.
The organization is run by volunteers at which take care of the dogs until they find forever homes.
“Being that we’re not brick and mortar, we don’t get any of the… some of the grants and things, we can’t get so we completely survive on adoption fees and what the generous communities help us with,” said Victoria Timreck, Sandi Paws Rescue founder.
Sandi Paws Rescue’s website shows at least 76 dogs are in need of adoption.
