GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – UPDATE: The Green Bay Police Department has placed a dog in quarantine after the animal reportedly bit off a portion of a man’s ear. The incident happened just before noon Monday, while the man said he was loading groceries into a vehicle at Paul’s Pantry. Police have identified the owner and say that person is co-operating.
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Police Department is looking for a dog that bit off a portion of a man’s ear.
The incident happened just before noon on Monday, while the 58-year-old man said he was loading groceries into a vehicle at Paul’s Pantry on the city’s east side.
The man had the bottom portion of his right ear bit off.
He says the dog was black in color and medium-sized.
He adds that the dog belonged to a driver of an older silver Pontiac with unknown plates.
Police believe they know the identity of the owner and would like that individual to come forward.
