MILWAUKEE, WI (MetroSource) There will be some bonus games at Miller Park for the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend. Major League Baseball has moved their series against the Miami Marlins from south Florida to Milwaukee due to the effects of Hurricane Irma.
Tickets for the three-game weekend series, which starts Friday, will go on sale today at 10 a.m.
Due to staffing issues, only 10,000 tickets will be sold and only the lower level will be used for seating for Friday. 23,000 seats will be offered for each weekend game, with seating in the lower and loge levels.
Even though the games are at Miller Park, the Marlins will be playing as the “home” team and the Brewers will bat in the top half of each inning.
