GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A man who is accused of stabbing a Green Bay Police K9 will stand trial.
Sia Vang was in court Wednesday.
He waived his preliminary hearing and will be back in court in November for arraignment.
Vang was taken into custody back in April after stabbing Pyro with a knife he had in his waistband.
Police were called because Vang was threatening to kill his father.
Vang admitted to police to stabbing Pyro because he is afraid of dogs.
The family claimed he has mental issues, but a judge found him competent to stand trail.
