KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Officers from 16 police departments from across northeast Wisconsin were honored and thanked in Kaukauna Friday.
Customers and employees at Keller Inc. gathered for the companies eighth annual police dedication ceremony.
The ceremony is held to show appreciation to law enforcement and raise funds for the departments.
The president of Keller spoke on what he hopes employees take away from the event.
“Just the teamwork, the togetherness. That we’ve got one another’s back. Looking out for us, trying to keep our communities safe,” said Keller, Inc. President Cory VandeWettering. “The jobs sites we’re working at different locations around the state, traveling, all of our teams are traveling every day up and down the roads. We appreciate what the police departments do locally and statewide to help keep our communities and our roads safe. ”
Forty-thousand dollars were raised in donations to 16 police departments — including Green Bay, Appleton and Kaukauna.
