SUAMICO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A story is unfolding in Brown County.
The Brown County Library introduced a new story walk at the Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve Thursday.
The story walk features the book “My Forest is Green” by Darren Lebeuf.
The children’s book is installed on panels along the trail, protecting the pages from the rain that welcomed families Thursday morning.
“It’s just a picture book that has been deconstructed and placed along one of our many beautiful paths,” said Sarah Sugden, Brown County Library executive director. “It’s an opportunity for you to bring your kid and to read the story and to pause and reflect and talk about it.”
The Friends of the Brown County Library funded the story walk.
