WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A second man has been sentenced to a year on probation for his role in a fatal homemade cannon explosion in Waupaca County.
60-year old Scott Mattes pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of endangering safety using a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. A felony charge of negligent homicide was dismissed.
A third suspect is set to enter a plea next month.
