BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An inmate is on the loose after escaping from the Brown County Jail Monday morning.
Justin James Dietrich, 35, escaped from the jail at 10:23 a.m., according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. He exited the loading dock area of the jail and headed east through some farm fields.
The Sheriff’s Office says they believe he escaped due to an argument with his girlfriend but did not provide further explanation.
Dietrich was last seen wearing a blue shirt and a white undershirt as well as blue pants. He has large tattoos on both shoulders.
Dietrich was being held on charges of making and delivery of amphetamines and fentanyl, intending to deliver amphetamines’, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, alter identity marks as well as fraud.
His bond is set at $3,000 and was serving a sentence until Dec. 19 for domestic violence disorderly conduct.
Dietrich is not known to be armed or to be an immediate danger to the community.
