BRUSSELS, WI (WTAQ)- A candidate for a seat on the Southern Door School District School Board will remain on the ballot after passing away right before election Tuesday.
The announcement of Marilyn Fitzgerald-White passing away came on Monday.
Fitzgerald-White will remain on the ballot, and will still be eligible for votes on Tuesday.
The Southern Door School District announced that if she wins one of the three open seats, they will follow state law and fill the seat with an appointment process.
Three other candidates are on the ballot for the three seats.
