GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A woman who allegedly hanged two dogs from trees at a park-and-ride pleaded not guilty Monday.
Pamela McNeill, 56, faces two counts of mistreatment of animals causing death for the Feb. 14 incident in Howard.
No trial date was set. McNeill returns to court Aug. 30.
McNeill admitted to the actions, saying the Pomeranians were misbehaving before she killed them.
““(The officer) then pointed out to Pamela that she had a dog the last time Police talked to her and inquired where it was. Pamela advised she killed them both and hung them in trees. She said they became vicious although later she said they had not bit or snapped at her, but just growled,” the complaint states.
If convicted, she faces up to three and a half years in the prison system for each count.
