GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Bellin Hospital in Green Bay is giving its employees a healthier way to stay hydrated while at work.
The new Evive Hydration Station was launched inside the Tree Top Cafe on Monday.
Evive Station CEO Dave Flanders says the kiosks are about giving people a healthy alternative and being green.
“The goal is to minimize plastic waste and offer healthier beverages.”
So how exactly do the kiosks work?
“It allows you to clean a reusable bottle inside and out with 21 high pressure jets, it then dries the bottle, and then from there it fills it with chilled purified water or chilled flavored waters,” says Flanders.
He also says the machines are user friendly.
“You’ll come up and scan your bottle. On the bottom of the bottle there’s a passive tag that recognizes you, brings up your profile, shows you how much you’ve saved, how many bottles you’ve saved from landfills, and your flavor break out.”
Evive stations just became available to the public last year and are quickly becoming a popular place to get H2O. They’ve been implemented in some universities, fitness centers, corporate locations, and hospital spaces.
Evive is the world’s first beverage kiosk capable of cleaning its reusable bottle and refilling it with filtered or fruit-flavored infused water.
They offer flavors like blueberry lavender, cucumber watermelon, strawberry lemon basil and more.
